During Live Racing, Winnipeg Transit will
operate a shuttle service, picking up passengers
at all bus stops from Ronald and Portage to Assiniboia
Downs. Regular Transit fares and transfers apply
(passengers may transfer from regular Transit service
to the shuttle at no additional cost).

Assiniboia Downs is located at 3975 Portage
Avenue, approximately a 15-20 minute drive
from downtown Winnipeg. We are located northwest
of the intersection of the West Perimeter Highway
101 and Portage Avenue West just beyond the West
Perimeter overpass. To get to Assiniboia Downs
drive west on Portage Avenue to the first traffic
light past the Perimter Highway overpass. Turn
right at that intersection on to Racetrack Road
proceed north past the Point West Auto Park and
proceed to the racetrack main parking lot and
entrance to the Assiniboia Downs.
