TYPES OF BETS YOU CAN MAKE
What
it means, and how to play.
Odds are based on the win pool
and reflect each individual horse’s chances
of winning, as determined by the wagering of the
public. The morning line is a calculation for
the odds in the program. These program odds are
made before the betting and represent the track
projections as to how the public will wager on
each horse. Payoffs are based on $2 bets. The
infield odds board and in-house television monitors
reflect approximate odds.

$6 COMBO WAGERS
Bet one of our featured $6 combo wagers. $2 Win, Place & Show on the horse of your choice (you win if your horse finishes 1st, 2nd or 3rd). $2 Quinella box on three horses (you win if your horse finishes 1st or 2nd). $1 Exactor Box on three horses (you win if your horses finishes 1st or 2nd). $1 Triactor box on three horses (you win if your horses finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in any order).
DAILY DOUBLE
A Daily Double is a single wager in which the
bettor is required to select the winners of two
consecutive races. There are two Daily Doubles
nightly, an early double usually on the first
and second races and a late double usually on
the last two races.
EXACTOR
An Exactor wager requires the selection, in exact
finishing order,(ex 1-2 , number 1 finished first
and 2 finished second, to box them you would buy
1-2 and 2-1) of the first and second horses in
a single race. The basic Exactor bet is $2. But
if the bettor chooses to box two or more horses,
the basic denomination can drop as low as $1.
For instance, the bettor could play a two-horse
$1 box(1 and 2 , 2 and 1) This would cost $2 and
would be a winner if the two horses finish first
and second in either order. A three-horse box
(six potential winning combinations) costs $6;
four-horse box, $12; five-horse box, $20; six-horse
box, $30; seven-horse box, $42; eight-horse box,
$56.
QUINELLA
A Quinella Wager requires the selection, in any
order of the first and second horses in a single
race. The Quinella is a $2 bet.
TRIACTOR
Triactor wagering involves the selection on the
first three finishers in the exact order in a
single race. The basic Triactor is $2 when a single
combination is played, such as 1-2-3. For the
bettor to collect a payoff, the 1 horse must win,
the 2 must finish second and the 3 must finish
third. Triactor boxes offer greater number of
winning combinations and the basic wagering denomination
can drop as low as $1. Thus a three-horse box
(six winning combinations 1-2-3: 1-3-2: 2-3-1:
2-1-3: 3-1-2: 3-2-1) costs $6; four-horse box,
$24; five-horse box, $60; six-horse box, $120;
seven-horse box, $210; eight-horse box, $336.
PICK-3
A multiple race bet. The goal is to select on
a single ticket each winner of three specially
designated daily triple races. If there are no
tickets with all three winners, the payoff pool
is distributed among those bettors with two of
the three winners. Should there be no outstanding
tickets with either three or two winners, the
payoff pool would be distributed among those patrons
with a single winner.
PICK-4
Pick-4 wagering is very similar to the
Pick-3. This is also a multiple race bet. The
Pick-4 begins in the fourth race and goes through
to the seventh. Once again the goal is to select
the winner of all four races on a single ticket. If there are no winning tickets 100% of the pool is carried over to the next day.
SUPERFECTA
Superfecta wagering is very similar to the Triactor
except that it involves the selection of the first
four finishers in the exact order in a single
race.
SUPER HIGH-5
Super High five wagering involves the selection of the first five finishers in the exact order in a single race. If there is no winning ticket, 100% of the pool is carried over to the next day.
