What's more deadly in shooting a duck in flight? A rifle or a shotgun? Obviously, a shotgun; less precision is required. That's the same logic some horseplayers use when playing superfectas--picking four horses to finish in the right order. Horseplayers will simply look for the five or six best horses in the race, box them to finish in any order, then wait for the big payout. Some find it easier than picking off the winner.
