Remember WEDFRISAT. That's your password to racing excitement. That's because Wednesday, Friday and Saturday are the primary days of racing during the 2013 live season which runs from May to September. Post time is 7:30 p.m. Admission and parking are always free.
AFTERNOON RACING ON SELECT DAYS: There is afternoon racing at 1:30 p.m. on all holidays and selected Sundays (Opening Day, Sunday, May 5, Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12, Monday, May 20, Father's Day, Sunday, June 16, Monday, July 1, Monday, August 5, Monday, September 2 & Sunday, September 22). Admission and parking are always free. See racing calendar to your right.
Assiniboia Downs is a 13/16th mile dirt track with one of the best records for safety in North America.

Veteran horseplayer Ivan Bigg will put you on the winning track by sharing secrets on reading that day's program. So be there at 7:00 p.m. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and at 1:00 p.m. during afternoon racing.
