Turn It Up makes it a good one.

Turn It Up makes it a good one.

Britannia Road, trained by Carl Anderson, almost got it done in the mile long optional allowance feature on Saturday evening.  Grabbing the lead as they went into the first turn, Britannia Road had an easy lead down the backstretch and fought gamely until late stretch where she finally succumb to the rush from Turn It Up and Trippin Star.

After jostling for position in the first turn, Turn It Up was able to settle into fifth down the backstretch.  Making her move on the outside of Hurri Coin in the turn, Turn It Up, trained by Jared Brown, looked be done but was able to find another gear in late stretch to pass the leaders Britannia Road and Trippin Star.

Trippin Star, trained by Lorna Gray, sat second the entire trip and took on the leader Britannia Road at the top of the stretch.  Battling throughout the stretch, Trippin Star finally was able to get her nose in front at the wire.
